The joy I feel meeting a couple as they are about to welcome their first baby together takes me right back to when I was about to have my first.
It’s such an exciting (and if I’m being honest, sometimes scary) time and it should be celebrated.
I always think about my favorite picture of my own mom – one of her standing in the driveway of our old farm, wearing clogs and a loose button down, in mid sentence but smiling, and super pregnant with me. Getting to see your parents in that light is so special, and I love giving my clients the gift of that keepsake for their children, too.
